It is a broader term than "art", which as a description of a field usually means only the visual arts (comprising fine art, decorative art, architecture and crafts). Art is a stimulation of feelings, expressions,ideas,lust which is used as a tool to provoke, inspire, satisfy and create those feelings, expressions, and ideas in an audience. The arts encompasses visual arts, literature, the performing arts, including music, drama, film, dance, related media, and by some definitions, other areas such as fashion. I've been looking for schools with good archeology/anthropology programs, but all of them seem to be huge school types, except for maybe some of the Ivies. I seem to like the liberal arts schools best though, from the schools i've gone to. I really like the atmosphere at those school, but i don't want to sacrifice a good academic experience for a better social experience. Can anyone help me out? Q. Does anyone know the true meaning of "arts and crafts cottage/home?" I know what the arts and crafts movement was but I keep seeing new and old houses with this description and it does not seem to be the same as the movement. Thanks for your answers!!
